My name is Charles Ebersole, a name that is often associated with Souderton’s revitalization program.
I’ve lived in the Souderton area all of my life. I’m not an out-of-town “big developer” who doesn’t value and appreciate what we have here in the Indian Valley. My hope for Souderton is to see it prosper. To see it become the dynamic community that it once was. A place where people can work, live, and play. A place that is bustling with people, retail shops, eateries, and places of entertainment and culture.
This can’t happen overnight, but it can happen. I’ve said it many times over the years, “what we need is feet on the street”. Business people, shoppers, residents, visitors, diners–both young and old.
The only way to achieve this is through revitalization. This isn’t about big buildings or small buildings. It’s not really about buildings at all. It’s about creating a vital, vibrant, sustainable community.
I believe this can and will happen, right here in my hometown. It starts with a vision. Not just my vision, but yours as well.
